In modern literary criticism, the problem of identifying various techniques and forms of expression of psychologism in Russian-language stories of Uzbekistan becomes relevant. This article discusses the reception of sleep and the symbolism of the concept of "dark forest" as a way to convey the inner state of the protagonist of the Russian-language story by T. Pulatov "Call me in the forest"
